Bees win away at Grimsby Town 2-0

The Bees travelled to Grimsby Town, fully aware that the League Two Mariners had knocked out Manchester United and Sheffield Wednesday in the two previous rounds. Keith Andrews changed 9 of his starters from Saturday's win against Liverpool. The Mariners started strong and were in control of the first 20 minutes, but the Bees capitalised on nearly every scoring opportunity to win the game 5-0.

18-year-old winger Romelle Donovan made his first senior appearance for the Bees, with 23 impressive minutes off the bench. Fans will surely enjoy watching his tricky dribbling, tenacity and low centre-of-gravity agility as he works hard to earn precious minutes on the pitch.

First corner goal of the season

The Bees' fifth goal of the game was scored by Nathan Collins, on a corner taken by Jensen. The goal was the first goal from a corner for the Bees all season.
