The Bees only had one draw in their first 15 games. After 28 games, they had four draws. In the last nine games, they have picked up six draws, bringing their season total to 10. While you could argue that this has helped them slowly but steadily progress forward a point at a time, many supporters were hoping for more.

Brentford are among a collection of mid-table teams that still have a lot of position uncertainty due to the compression in the table that currently exists. The Bees could finish as high as 7th place or as low as 13th. Only Newcastle have a broader range, being able to go as high as 7th or as low as 14th. With Brentford spending so much time in the top half of the table, it would be a real disappointment to drop well into the bottom half.
