Text analysis of selected job postings Brentford FC

It's been well publicised that when Thomas Frank left the Bees for Tottenham that he took several of his backroom staff with him. The Bees have already begun to fill a few of the roles with a combination of promotions and external hires. They do have a number of general roles listed on their website, including a few key football roles. We thought it might be interesting to see the words that they use both generally for all roles, as well as specifically for their coaching and analyst roles.
General, for all roles
As we can see above, the general wording for professional roles has a heavy focus on being good corporate citizens, following (and enforcing) the rules and being inclusive. No big surprises for a club that has grown rapidly and needs to be careful with hires to ensure they maintain the club's reputation, culture while complying with an assortment of rules from across the FA, Premier League, UEFA and beyond.
Set piece coach
Brentford's search their next set piece coach is not hidden away in secret backchannels, it's posted on their website for all to see.
Given Brentford's leadership in set pieces, this role will surely attract a number of highly qualified candidates. Brentford's description leans heavily on expected words like players, strategy, team, analysis and metrics. Brentford clearly sees the role as a creative one, looking for a person who can design new plays and improve the team's book of set pieces to build on strengths and address weaknesses.
B Team analyst
The Bees are also hiring a new analyst to focus on the B Team.
No surprises here with a key focus on team, academy and analysis. This role requires a lot of close collaboration with players, other analysts and on-field coaching staff, so we also see a prevalence of words like staff, collaborate and alongside.
Character (furry) mascot
Yes, that's really what this job is called. Presumably this is to jump inside the Buzz or Buzzette Bee costumes, though perhaps Brentford has something new planned for this year. This role will require a different skill set to a coach or analyst, but there's no doubt that for many (young) fans at the stadium, it's just as important.
Here, we see words like positive, community, children, fans, enthusiastic and interact appear frequently. Across all of the roles, there is a common thread of expecting people to be part of a team, to be positive, to improve the team while being part of the community.
These roles are unlikely to be the Bees website for long, but if you're interested, you may want to look at the current job openings page on the Bees website. The word clouds in this story were generated, for free, using simplewordcloud.com.
